Asus VivoBook X540UP-GO002T Review
Today we are reviewing the Asus VivoBook X540UP-GO002T which is a 15.6-inch laptop model that has been recently released and offers consumers a nice well-rounded option with solid performance. There are plenty of lower-cost options available but for those who prefer the capabilities of a full-sized laptop and want to avoid the issues that come with getting a budget laptop, especially in the performance department this seems like a solid choice at first glance but we will review some of the benefits and downsides below to see just how good of an option it is.

Storage: 1 TB SATA
Screen: 15.6 Inches

Benefits
As we mentioned above the Asus VivoBook X540UP-GO002T comes packed with some solid performance without being overly pricey and one of the main reasons for this is the fact it comes with the Intel Core i5 processor. This is a step below Intel’s top-end consumer processor which is the i7 but still offers superior performance than what you will find in the budget options and comes in quite a bit cheaper. Along with the very capable i5 processor it is also packed with 8 GB of memory which is usually more than enough to handle everything from basic computing to powering more resource-hungry applications.
With plenty of mid-range laptops sneaking in low wend graphics cards, this VivoBook instead comes with a very capable AMD Radeon which is a step below what you will find in the very expensive gaming rigs but still offers 2 GB of dedicated memory making it a great setup for the casual gamer.
If you are a power user who is on the go often the lightweight design will be another big bonus as this laptop model tips the scales at a very reasonable 1.9 Kg. For a laptop that also offers a full-sized display, this is very convenient.
Downsides
Not everything is perfect on the Asus VivoBook X540UP-GO002T and one of its biggest downfalls is also in the portability category. While the lightweight design is great it is lacking in battery life with a mere 5 hours of run time on a single charge. With the limited battery life getting through a full day without needing a charge is going to be almost impossible unless you are only using it for small periods of time.
Verdict
If you ignore the limited battery life in the Asus VivoBook X540UP-GO002T you end up with a machine that has plenty going for it and is strong in every category, but for those who need a laptop that can give them plenty of time without needing a power source it will have you really thinking if it is the right machine for you.
