Specs
Processor: Intel Core i3
Memory: 8 GB of RAM
Storage: 256 GB SSD
Screen: 14 Inches
OS: Windows 10
Benefits
– In part due to the smaller chassis this model is very light for a 14-inch design weighing in at just 1.5 KG making it a great companion while on the road
– Along with the lightweight it also has the battery capacity to keep you going throughout the day by being able to provide up to 10 hours on a single charge
– This model also gets a performance boost out of the fast SSD drive which has much superior read and writes times compared to a typical SATA drive
– Device supports Windows Hello feature which allows you to log in using your camera which is much faster than a typical password
Downsides
– It isn’t extremely underpowered but the Intel Core i3 lacks the same type of performance you would find with an i5 or i7 processor
– The graphics card that is included is very basic making this a poor choice for hardcore gamers who want to play some of the demanding modern games
– The optical drive is removed from this device so to read and write to physical media an external device would need to be purchased
Verdict
The configuration of the HP Pavilion 14-bf007na isn’t going to wow many consumers as it lacks any seriously impressive features but still has a nice overall design and is a great portable option for consumers on the go.
