Processor: Intel Core i7

Memory: 16 GB of RAM

Storage: 256 GB SSD

Screen: 15.6 Inches

OS: Windows 10

– With a powerful Intel Core i7 processor and plenty of memory at 16 GB this system is easily able to handle high end workloads without suffering from poor performance
– For those that like to have a bit of fun as well on their laptop devices the AMD Radeon R7 M445 graphics card can handle the demands of modern games with its 4 GB of dedicated memory
– 3 USB ports are available with 2 of these running on the newer and faster 3.0 technology
– The SSD drive helps give this laptop an extra boost of performance beyond what the already powerful processor and memory combination provides
– Something a little bit different than many of the new laptops is that the optical drive is still included and will be a big plus for those that still use physical media
– With 10 hours of battery life staying on the go for the full day on a single charge is a very real possibility

– This model is slightly heavy at 2.3 Kg and part of this is due to the fact it has left the optical drive included which adds a little bit of bulk
– With the smaller 256 GB SSD drive you don’t get as much storage space as some other models even though the performance from the SSD helps make up for this

Overall the Dell Inspiron 5000 T7M54 seems to be one of the better laptops we have recently reviewed as it holds its own in just about every category from high end performance to long lasting battery life. About the only improvement we could really see was a lighter weight design but even this is average among many of the other new 15.6 inch models available.
